TRISTAN SEALY GETS FIRST EVER STLMS WIN

The STLMS returned to Needmore Speedway on Saturday June 6th for its third and final stop of 2015. John King and the staff of Needmore Speedway did an outstanding job on the track surface that allowed the fans to witness a spectacular night of two and three wide racing. The night began with Schaeffer's Racing Oil qualifying. Travis Carter was the fastest qualifier of the night and pick up the fastest qualifier award. When it was time fo...r the A-Main Travis Carter and Tristan Sealy lead the field to the green flag. Travis Carter jump out to the front and appeared to be the car to beat until a carburetor issue caused him to slow and bringing out the first caution of the night. Tristan Sealy then inherited lead and restarted the race. Cole Exum jumped along side of Sealy for the lead and these to young guns battled door to door for the lead. Exum took the lead for a moment and Sealy battled back on the outside to regain the lead. Exum would then bring out the next caution with a engine problem and retire to the pits. Sealy would again restart the race at the point and now Kelly Walker would be in second. The battle between Sealy and Walker would be intense lap after lap but when the checkered flag waved it was Tristan Sealy getting the win. Not only was it his first ever STLMS win it was his first win in a late model car. Kelly Walker, Kyle Bridges, Kitt Sealy, and Tom Jones Jr. rounded out the top five respectively. We want to thank everybody for their continued support of the STLMS.
