The Chill Factor Update

  Attention:  Due to below freezing temperatures forecast for Friday night Albany Motor Speedway has decided to postpone the scheduled heat races until Saturday afternoon. There will be an open practice Friday night from 6:00pm until 9:00 pm for all classes. Saturday will begin at 2:00 pm with hot laps for Super Street, Hobby Stock, Enduro & Mini Stock with heat races for these classes following hot laps. Due to moving to a one day event there will not be a payout for heat races as previously advertised. We will simply run the program scheduled for Friday night Saturday at 2:00pm. Then we will begin with hot laps for Late Model & Limited, qualifying, and feature races. Grandstands will be $15 and pit passes will be $35. We apologize for all the changes but it just didn’t feel right asking racers to bring their family out in such bitter cold. Saturday as I write this is forecast as a high of 57 so if we start at 2:00 pm and are finished by our goal of 7:00pm we should be chilly at the Chill Factor but not freezing. We look forward to seeing all our wonderful racers and fans this weekend at Albany Motor Speedway for The Chill Factor 2014.
